Dawg Tired Posted July 24, 2007 Author Report Posted July 24, 2007 You have to put the whole bean down and cover it with leaves, let them rot... you can't "plant" them. THEN - they take a couple of years to start.Or just order a tree already started from a nursery.We are trying to start some more in the front yard a bit closer to the house since the ice storm this past January. The oaks and Mimosas came through the storm just fine - it really did a lot of damage to everything else! Quote
