Jacquie802
Hi,Once again still dealing with my headache...I am just curious if the Florinef could be causing me the headaches. When I first took Florinef I had headaches for a week then they went away. I haven't stopped taking Florinef, but could it cause me to have a headache once again? Just trying to figure out what's going on?!
Lukkychrm42
I don't remember having headaches that coincided with beginning Florinef, but I definitely have had them with other corticosteroids, so I'd think it's a possibility! It might just take your body time to adjust. ? Sorry!!
Dizzy Dame
Florinef can cause brain swelling, it's listed as one of its symptoms. You should call your doctor first thing tomorrow and tell him about your headaches. I tried Florinef for about 2 weeks when I first got sick, and it made me feel like my head was in a vice. I had to stop taking it because the pain was too bad. As soon as I stopped, the headaches went away (within a day or so). Hope you find some relief!Hugs, lauren
Jacquie802
Yeah, I'm not sure which doc to call tomomrrow, but I am going to call one of the many I have. It stinks though because Florinef has helped me soo much in the dizziness and near syncope department...
Suzanne
I definitely think Florinef contributes to headaches. I started on it 9 months ago and had significant headaches for a few weeks. Then it settled down. However, when I try any new medications, the headaches turn into migraines. I think Florinef does not mix well with other meds. I have found it helped my BP and dizziness, but did not solve problem. I am reluctant to go off it as my symptoms recurr. I also find that if I have any alcohol or too much sugar, the headaches worsen. Florinef seems to dominate my head space. Not sure what the answer is for you. You can trial going off and see what happens.
goldicedance
Florinef was the culprit for me with the terrible migraines that landed me in the hospital. I will never use florinef again for that reason. I would suggest you contact the doctor who prescribed the florinef to see what she or he suggests.
