Guest Julia59
Would magnesium increase my heart rate. It seems my HR went up after taking 1/4 tsp. of 100% pure powder magnesium oxide.I am taking this for my slow bowel motility. I am just miserable, and tired of walking around in constant bloat. I just can't handle feeling this way any more.Any answers would be appreciated. Maybe i'm just imagining it.Julie :0)
Sak
Yes, it can, indirectly. Magnesium can lower blood pressure, which can cause tachycardia in those with POTS.
MightyMouse
Potassium can do that too. Nina
EarthMother
How many milligrams in that 1/4 tsp dose?I take magnesium to help keep my heart from skipping so much and take anywhere from 400 to 800 mg a day. However I take it in small 200 mg doses spread throughout the whole day.EM
Guest Julia59
400 mg's---but now I also spread it out. I'm taking it for severe constipation due to lower bowel motility problems. NOT WORKING THOUGH.? Well atleast it may help with my skipped beats---but I don't get them that often---but I hate it when I do get them---so i'll continue. I'm Ok now---seem's my system is gettting used to it. I also added B12 and folic acid.Julie :0)
