ben_uk
Hi allSometimes I have this intense pressure in my head like the blood pressure is going really high and it feels like it is going to burst. It doesn't happen very often - only when I am generally symptomatic.Any advice would be appreciatedThanksBen
gdomaracki
It's definately a potsy thing, an uncomforatble one at that. I notice it at times when I'm symptomatic, at also at times when I lie down. It can be caused by blood rushing to your head. My medication also increases this pressure like sensation, along with tingling/numbness. I wouldn't be alarmed but if you would feel more at ease, ask your pcp. Best of luck! Ernie
Hi,I get them when I am very presyncopal or after fainting. Lying down in a quiet room helps.
Wufflebear
Yes, I have those most every day... Do you ever notice that it feels more uncomfortable when you breath in?? That is one of my oddities. My head feels better if I recline or lie down. I don't know what my bp does then but my pulse is usually resting around 100 then, which is high for me. AJVDK
I get head pressure before I get the dizzy feeling, and when I start to over do it. When the head pressure comes on its time to lay down.Amy
ben_uk
Thanks for your replies. Last night I had it whilst lying down. The pressure is so great I think I am going to have a stroke or something. I don't think a lot of doctors understand.Guess I will have to live with it, along with all the other weird symtpoms! Thanks again,Ben
