For Thanksgiving and today(friday) I've been battling unusual blood pressure spikes. I pinpointed it's food with eggs in it.

Today I had the most eggs and it's messed me up. At first, I had a huge wave of fatigue. Then I stood up and I was extremely dizzy. I thought I was going to faint. But I checked my BP and it was 180/101. My face flushed. My hands got cold and sweaty. And I need to pee a lot. Tremors.

I've been diagnosed with hyper pots. I know my adrenal glands don't product enough aldosterone and renin. Ehlers danlos mobility.

Has anyone had a sudden reaction to eggs and did you find out why?

Is eggs a high histamine food? It's one of the foods I've noticed increased stomach upset with the last few years (not all the time though) and I've somehow been able to match a lot of the foods that do with with high histamine content.

High histamine also dense food that can impact the digestion and bind up in the stomach. Eating food like this can elevate BP.

High histamine. Why would this give a person a problem? This is a pots thing? Or something else?

When I had my last flare up I wondered if I had high histamine or a histamine intolerance suddenly.  I had sudden episodes of being very congested, especially after eating.  I was also having GI issues and bad headaches.  The interesting thing was when I took an antihistamine I would feel markedly better.  I have not experienced this before.

I have headaches daily. But that's been going on for years. But this last year and a half I was diagnosed with ulcers that won't go away, gastritis, barrets esophagus. I don't know if my stomach issues are related to this histamine stuff. I still don't know what histamine issues are. Like is this pots or what.

@MomtoGiuliana From researching this I know that histamine is a vaso-dilator, usually making our POTS symptoms worse. Antihistamines have vasoconstricting properties and that is possibly the reason they helped with your Flare symptoms.
