@DickinsonsMeadow On the days I feel like you describe I unfortunately just have to rest and wait it out, even if it takes days. When I first became ill with dysautonomia I pushed through everything and made myself function despite the symptoms, eventually making the illness much much worse.

I find resting a lot but doing short periods of mild exercise ( sitting or reclined ) helps with those symptoms, and avoiding overstimulation. What helps me with the nausea is Zofran and small frequent snacks. Also drinking salty broth helps me a lot.

Did meclizine ever help with the dizziness?

I was on that for a short while but it did NOT help ME. But we are all different. In my case the dizziness was caused by rapidly changing BPs - so going on meds for that helped. But dizziness can have many causes, even in dysautonomia. What I had to do is try many meds over years to find the right combo. Hang in there.

Thanks, @Pistol. I finally have a doctor who seems to know what he's talking about. He's a fainting specialist, and even though I don't faint, he's been the most helpful person I've seen so far. Don't want to recommend him yet--just one visit, etc--but he's Dr. Tullo. Heard of him? New Jersey Center for Fainting. He wrote a great article explaining dysautonomia.
