There are certain diagnostic criteria for HPOTS, and the most important one would be elevated norepinephrine levels upon standing. That is how I was diagnosed - my levels were high. Also HPOTS often presents with an elevated BP as well as HR upon standing. -- I would present the headache from midodrine to your prescribing physician and see what they say.
