It was early in the morning and so I was fasting and hadn't had water, so that probably made this worse. Basically I got stuck 4 times, and the phlebotomist just kept wiggling that dang needle around and I would get some blood in the tube and then I would just stop bleeding. Because of that I now have 3 hematomas. And the worst part is that they didn't even get enough blood for one of the tests! Luckily they did get enough for the test I had to fast for but it was incredibly painful. I have had lots and lots of blood tests before but none of them have ever hurt that much. My hand hurt so much afterwards I could barely bend it and I had work to do. I guess I am just wondering if this is a dysautonomia thing and if it is, is there something I can do to make it better?
