For me so far we are battling the insurance company to get them to pay for it. My Doc had to submit a statement that it is medically necessary. Not sure if that is bad or not. MikeO Posted April 1, 2022 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2022 Update added the ezetimibe to my drug cocktail. Not sure what my doc did (sure he had to justify the use) but the insurance is now paying for it. I have been on it for two weeks with no side effects (pharmacy did mention that the drug is well tolerated) Hope this helps someone down the road.
