Taurine for POTS heart rate

I’m considering using 1g Taurine daily to help with post Covid POTS symptoms. (stand up 130-150bpm). Does anyone has an experience with Taurine? Does it really help or is a waste of time?  Thx

Hello @Kalt - welcome to the forum! If you type "Taurine" into the search bar it will bring up many older posts that have addressed Taurine, you may find some info there.

I have found it more helpful for palpitations and pounding heartbeat than for the rate itself. A beta blocker helps more with that. I still take taurine, because my palpitations are bothersome.

My EP recommended it...along with an antiarrythmic drug--so, probably not a stand-alone treatment except for mild conditions. I do feel it helps though.
