p8d Posted November 15, 2019 Report Posted November 15, 2019 Anybody have one of these? Any advice? Thanks. Quote
Scout Posted November 29, 2019 Report Posted November 29, 2019 I've had two of these done in the past. They're a breeze, but I will say the only annoying aspect is that if you're not a deep sleeper, the sound of the cuff inflating every 30 mins at night to take your reading, can be frustrating and can wake you. Your arm will also likely be a little sore or tender after the 24 hours, due to all the readings, but only slightly so. The 24 hour monitoring is really useful to see what your BP is doing, so I definitely think it's worth it! Quote
p8d Posted November 29, 2019 Author Report Posted November 29, 2019 Thanks @Scout It was a breeze. Mine read every half hour until 11pm then every hour until 8am. I did notice that it read a good 15-20 points lower than my BP cuff at home and even greater at the Drs offices. The results are not yet available but cardiologist said to trust the 24 hour readings more than the others. Did you notice any difference in the readings? Quote
