Its much more noticeable when my heart rate is lower and I'm not focusing on anything in particular. Basically my whole field of vision distorts/pulsates with the beat of my heart. I don't hear much of other people talk about this except one or two people over on Reddit with dysautonomia. Ever since getting POTS, I have felt my pulse strongly in many different places in my body but they usually come and go. However the pulse in my vision has stayed pretty constant and only really lessens in intensity. Curious to hear your thoughts. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Scout Posted November 1, 2019 Report Share Posted November 1, 2019 I have this happen regularly. It is an odd feeling! I have no answers I'm sorry, but just know you're not alone in experiencing it. It's been happening to me for about a decade, as well as sometimes seeing flashes of light in my eyes in time with my pulse, when my eyes are closed and I'm falling asleep. Random-Symptom Man Posted November 1, 2019 Report Share Posted November 1, 2019 Sometimes I get this. It happens more often when I have a sinus infection and when my body decides to bloat up. I can usually measure several pounds of water retention when I get this symptom. My wife says my face gets puffy. I think mine has to do with increased pressure in or around the eye due to bloating. I've not thought about when I notice it more and I will try to keep track of that. My eye Dr says it's unusual for someone to report it. MissMermaid Posted November 7, 2019 Report Share Posted November 7, 2019 Yes! I get this. Before I was diagnosed with pots I noticed this and didn’t think much of it. Sometimes when I get up of a morning by the time I get to the bathroom my heart is already beating hard enough to pulse my eyes along with it. Very odd feeling. bunny Posted November 11, 2019 Report Share Posted November 11, 2019 I get this as well, usually when I'm not feeling too good. My vision tends to darken more with the pulse wave than anything else. When it gets to this point, I'm pretty close to the point where I'm looking for a flat surface to lay down on before my body does it for me.
