Hannah36
Hi everyone, I haven't had POTS for too long (it's only been about 6 months since it was clearly developing) and only recently experienced a few incidents that are (I think?) actual syncope. I don't drop out of consciousness for very long though--no more than 15 seconds at a time, and I tend to go in and out for a little while with 10-15 seconds blacked out before a minute or so of consciousness. Does this align with anyone else's experience of syncope? It just seems like such a short amount of time to black out for.
bombsh3ll
Hi Hannah, Sorry you find yourself here. Yes, syncope is typically brief, once you are flat the blood flow to your head is restored. Also it can be hard to tell yourself unless someone else witnesses it. Have you managed to get any treatment? B xxx
