Joejr2u Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 I was diagnosed with POTS about 8 years ago and was handling it very well with Meds and Exercise. Well about 5 years ago I noticed I started having really bad Stomach gurgling and it was truly making me sick, Diarrhea, headaches and sweating. I made an appointment with GP and was referred to Gastroenterologists and was diagnosed with Hpylori and prescribed Triple Therapy and all havoc broke lose as far as Stomach was concerned. I reported this to my Gastroenterologist and was sent to University of Louisville and was seen by Top Gastroenterologist and had a breath test and was then diagnosed with Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth. I've been treated over 4 times and have never had a Breath test to confirm eradication of SIBO. I'm loss and dont know what to do now. I just want my Life back. Any advice? Diet, Exercise?? My GP that I see now thinks I have Fibromyalgia due to Arthritis in lower back and neck and knees. I'm lost. Helpppppppp😢😢😢 Quote
StayAtHomeMom Posted January 1, 2019 Report Posted January 1, 2019 Have they suggested kefir? Or culturelle? I know it is bacteria and you already have an over abundance but maybe the good stuff can help keep the bad stuff in check? May help your other GI issues as well. Quote
Pistol Posted January 1, 2019 Report Posted January 1, 2019 My husband has SIBO and suffered very much with cramps, bloating, diarrhea etc. He has been taking probiotics and prebiotics and he has improved a lot. Quote
