Kelleyhome 0
I've been on Fludrocortisone for the past 4 years because I have autonomic failure. I hurt my back last month, it's not getting better and would love to be able to take some kind of NSAID. Has anyone had success with it not interacting with the Fludrocortisone and causing gastric bleeding? I'm desperate. I have an appointment to see my pcp on Friday, but until then I could sure use some advice. Thanks!
Jan 0
I have taken Florinef for almost 20 years and take Motrin on a pretty regular basis and haven't had any problems yet. I always take the Florinef with milk or food or I get stomach pain.

Pistol 0
@Kelleyhome - I cannot take NSAIDS due to gastric issues but I do great with Turmeric/Ginger/ Black Pepper. It has actually been proven by modern medicine to work and I do not have any severe GI issues except maybe some occaisional heartburn from it.
KiminOrlando 0
I have been on florinef for 10 years and take Aleve twice a day for 8 years. I also have gastroparesis. No problems and none of my doctors are terribly concerned about this.
katyroq 0
My doctor said ibuprofen (even a double dose) is ok with fludrocortisone. The pharmacy pamphlet says do not take aspirin.
