POTS after taking Metronidazole?

Did anyone else develop POTS after taking Metronidazole? My biopsy has show I have nerve damage and my doctors now believe it was a result from this antibiotic. I was previously health apart from stomach issues, I took this antibiotic to treat s parasite Blastocystis hominis. After then i developed blood pressure issues. I now have confirmed POTs, SIBO and possibly MCA. 

Im interested to know if other have also been effected.

Hi Sarah, welcome to DINET. I used our search engine and entered Metronidazole and found several conversations about the drug. I think making a new post about your experience would be perfect for the forum--new ears and eyes may have new information.

Hi there,

I just stumbled on your post. I developed dysautonomia (possible POTS) after taking metronidazole months back. I plan on getting checked for SIBO as well. I wanted to ask how you were doing? I’ve been in and out of clinics for the past many months and am experiencing tons of brain fog. Most of my other dysautonomia symptoms seem to have subsided.
