Icy Toes

Recommended Posts

I've been walking longer and further at night but I've started having some oddball symptoms like my legs going numb and last night two of my toes turned ice cold before I got home. Sat down in my chair and the numbness and icy toes went away in a few minutes. Never had icy toes before. I don't know if I should call my cardiologist, EP, the neuro, the DPT or my primary. Good grief.

Lol I cleaned my entire my house today and my left leg is numb I also feel like my pelvis is out of place, so with that my pinky toe and the one next to it goes numb and sometimes they feel cold. (They are currently leaning towards Ehlers Danlos type III as another diagnosis for me) Last time this happened, I talked to my Nuero and the PT that he sent me too, she figured out that my pelvis was rotated! I’d call your Neuro, maybe they can help? I hope you figure it out and feel better soon as I know from following other posts you’ve been feeling pretty good lately.

This happens to me - hands and feet. My cardio says it is circulatory with me. Sit on couch with feet elevated and everything returns. I have to pace myself. Cold makes it worse.

I would try the neurologist. Could be a form of renauld's (sorry I may have misspelled that). Second maybe cardiologist due to maybe circulation issues. Sounds more like a nuisance than a problem. Hope it stays that way for you.

I have raynauds syndrome in my feet but it turns ALL of the toes red then white and then blue. If it is only two toes I would be concerned that it could be something else. I would see whoever has the first opening! -- Wish you the best!

The never-ending, cascading, kaleidoscope of symptoms :-O

Mine is Reynaud's too. My hands are much worse than my feet and 2 fingers on each hand are worse than the others, so not all of mine turn colors at the same time. They tingle and turn cold before turning colors. You DO need to call the doctor because you can get ulcers on your finger/toes that get infected and can lead to losing them. They just need to be aware that it is going on so they can decide what it is and let you know if there is something you should or should not be doing. Reynaud's is more of a nuisance than something scary for me, but I respect what it COULD turn in to.

I also would like to point out that if it is Raynaud's then some of POTS meds are not for you if they cause vasoconstriction. And I agree with @KiminOrlando - I used to get severe frost bite and gangrene on my toes from Raynaud's prior to getting diagnosed and treated.

I am down to two BP meds so if we cut one out more I'm all for it!

So, I just got back from the grocery store. The temperature reading in my car said 103. I walk in wearing capri pants, sandals, sunglasses up on my head and.... GLOVES! Otherwise it is difficult to buy refrigerated and frozen stuff because my hands get too cold and go numb. Then I start dropping stuff.

Yes, I live in Florida. Don't you know those people were talking about me as I walked down the aisles, tachycardic and sweating, mid summer wearing GLOVES!

Let's just hope I don't become a Facebook meme.

I have a sister in West Melbourne, she wears gloves in the store too. Her hands get cold.

If you see a meme titled "Weird people of Publix" and someone matching my description is in there, defend me. 🤣

Okay, but I usually don't go out in Publix.
