zerohours000
Came across this. Not sure if it looks promising or delusional: https://www.fiercebiotech.com/research/peripheral-neuropathy-could-be-reversed-by-fda-approved-class-drugs
TCP
That's interesting - Thanks for posting! I have small fibre neuropathy all over my body and head.
p8d
That’s very interesting. Muscarinic receptors have been implicated in some POTS research as having antibodies blocking them (or something like that). If I am remembering correctly the Mayo autoimmune antibody screen looks at these among others. Celltrend also tests for these among others. No worries. I hope they have some breakthroughs soon. Gene editing in Boston is a thriving business. Still a while away from clinical trials but if you have hereditary or genetic issues, it could be the next step in therapy (I think what they do is try to extract stem cell, edit them, and inject them into the body at the cellular level to regrow damaged or dysfunctioning cells). Someone can correct me on that but I think that’s one of the ways they do it. Like, if they ever figure out a way to slow telemere degeneration, it could slow down or reverse aging itself. We’re close in spirit but far away ethically and technologically. But it gives me hope. : )
