Vague, dull pain in upper left armpit and pec

Recommended Posts

Sometimes when I lay down too long I get a dull pain in my left upper side which also moves to my back. I am just wondering if anyone else experiences this pain. on a scale of 1 to 10 it is around 2-4.  The pain goes away once I stand up and move around for a bit. It is not too painful or anything but just annoying and worrisome.

I get that too. Mine is upper left side and kind of cups down and around my breast. I usually get it at rest and it's kind of a dull, achey, annoying pain and goes away after about 10-20 minutes. No clue what it is or why it happens but I've been assured that there is nothing structurally wrong with my heart so... If you figure it out let me know!! Hope you're ok!!

Yep - I get it. Left side. pressure-like feeling. Worse with rest, relieved ( sometimes ) with moving around. I was told it is because of circulation abnormaities in dysautonomia patients. Sorry - I don't recall the exact explanation but it is common for POTS patients.

Oh goodness... it is so good to know I'm not the only one (but I sincerely wish none of you had to go through this, either).

I get a lot of intermittent pain in my left under arm, and pain that comes and goes on the left side of my body in general.

I've been told it's "normal" for the muscles on the left side to get sore when we have issues with racing heart, and so on. It's scary, but usually just stretching out the muscles, or a heat pack, soothes the issue.
