plaster89
Hi everyone! Have you ever heard of this this? You scrap your fingernail through your skin and then after a few seconds it should go red. Does anyone have a reaction of white line emerging for up to few minutes? And what does it mean? Is it normal POTS symptom? Greetings.
Pistol
I was told this could be a sign of mast cell activation syndrome
plaster89
I heard about mass activation syndrome, but I am not familiar with it. I also have permanent low-grade fever, dry eyes, which apparently are symptoms of this syndrome. How is it evaluated/diagnosed?
Pistol
@plaster89 - I went to an ENT/Allergist she did labs and urine tests.
StayAtHomeMom
It can also be a sign of an adrenal disorder. Personally I have had it happen but not all the time. Every so often I will scratch my arm or leg and the areas around it will turn red but where I scratched will be white for about 10 minutes. No doc has been able to explain it. Never seems to happen when I am there and pictures never turn out well.
