Does anyone know NeuroPhysics therapy?!

Hi everyone!

I'm new on the forum and I came here hoping someone has experience with this...

I came across a Australian rehabilitation center called NeuroPhysics they claim the following:

Quote

NeuroPhysics is a fully integrated, holistic program that engages all of the body’s systems in a unique way, to optimise recovery from a variety of conditions, as well as enhance physical performance and wellbeing.

NeuroPhysics is a method of activating communication in the nervous system that connects pathways in a manner that has not been previously discovered and explained. The therapy does not discriminate, as it focuses on treating the person, not the disorder, with results achieved in remarkable time scales.

NeuroPhysics Training and Rehabilitation is an exercise based program that utilises specific equipment and techniques, to firstly assess the status and function of a client’s system and then trigger the nervous system to self-organise and return itself back to optimal function.

I spoke to a girl who has CRPS, which is suspected to be an autonomic (sympathic) nervous system problem. Which is why it caught my attention..I was wondering if it could be something people with Dysautonomia could benefit from...? Otherwise I found testimonials from patients with spinal cord injuries and muscular disorders.

I'm from the Netherlands and am diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance (got diagnosis POTS and NMH), caused by Lyme disease (and I have ME too).

So is there anyone here who has heard of this clinic?

Thank you!

Marly.

Hi Marly--welcome to the forum.  I have not heard of this either.  I would suggest that when researching any claim it's important to see if it is backed up by peer-reviewed research.

Here is DINET's position on medical practices that may be useful to consider:
