joshrandall Posted January 21, 2016 Report Share Posted January 21, 2016 I have a strong suspicion my pots is related to mitochondrial damage related to a side effect of a drug and Im wondering how differnt the treatment is or wether this will be acknowledge if i eventually get to a specialist? Katybug Posted January 23, 2016 Report Share Posted January 23, 2016 Mitochondrial disease is controversial (I happen to believe it exists) but, as with any rare and controversial illness, it's hard to find providers. I know there is a "mito cocktail" and several parts of the cocktail are OTC supplements. From what I remebering in posts from several years ago, it's a pretty different set of supplements/drugs from any POTS type treatments.
