cammee
Has anyone every had their meds just not work? I've been doing pretty good but the last couple days I feel like I haven't even taken my meds at all.
Katybug
All the time...and there's no rhyme or reason to what days it happens vs. the days that the meds seem to work.
Singout
Just experiencing this (unless my meds are OK and there's something else awry) in the last few days. Scary!!
griffism
Whenever I am "normal people" sick, my meds do not work at all. Stefanie
SarahA33
Sometimes people develop a tolerance to their medications depending on how long they have been taking them and have to have their doses adjusted. That situation just happened with my beta blocker and it had to be increased.. I'd suggest calling your doctor if you are having questions or problems with your med's! It's all just a big pain in the neck unfortunately! -Sarah
corina
Sarah et all, I had the exact same experience when on bb's. The fab effect wore off after ten days. I ended up needing 300mg 24/7 which felt great hr wise but made me exhausted so I decided (together with my doc of course) to taper down to 200mg
SarahA33
For those of us with dysautonomia, beta blocker's certainly seem to be quite a slippery slope don't they? I've to increase and change mine at least 5 times the last few years because of side effects, but I was in same boat, the HR control is great (in my situation)
