cleo
Has anyone had bladder prolapse surgery years after having a hysterectomy? I think the surgery is called sacrocolpopexy. I believe this operation can only be performed under general anesthesia. I haven't been under general anesthesia since developing pots and am a little nervous going under it because I am sensitive to meds.
Katybug
Hi Cleo,You may want to check out the forum at ednf.org called Inspire. I know I've seen quite a few posts on there about this subject as organ prolapse is common in those with EDS. Good luck with your surgery. If it brings you any peace, I actually feel better for a few days after anesthesia because it seems to calm my nervous system.
cleo
Thanks katybug. I've been putting off having surgery under gen anesthesia for a long time. Someone else told me that they too feel better potswise after having anesthesia. Oh, to have some calming of my nervous system. :-) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
