GingerA
I have been dealing with POTS for a while now. But lately I have been having terrible bouts of anxiety for no reason. Also I feel like my skin is burning one minute and freezing the next. Am I going crazy?
Zedman33
No, I don't think you are going crazy. I can be sweating and have goose bumps at the same time. I've had moments of wiping my brow and my feet are freezing cold.

E Soskis
I'm not sure I would attribute your symptoms of hot and cold to "anxiety". Several times a day, my body suddenly feels like it has been dunked in a tub of ice water - my skin is refrigerator cold, my ears ring like crazy, and the brain fog gets pretty thick. Alternately, many times a day, my skin will suddenly feel like it is on fire - so hot, it leaves me weak and pre-syncopal. Very rarely, I will sweat with the heat but, for the most part, I quit sweating years ago. I'm sure it is related to dysfunction of the temperature regulation part of the brain - I keep a blanket throw on the back of my recliner and a small portable electric fan on the table beside my chair. GingerA
I have that feeling of being on fire too. Even regionally, like my hands will be so hot but not my feet.
