imre
What is a good snack to take to a classroom? Something that will boost energy and get rid of dizziness/hypoglycemia?
ask2266
Celery sticks (or fruit if you can tolerate it) with almond butter.
Katybug
I am very fond of KIND bars and the new KIND Healthy Grain squares ( these are a new product only released on QVC right now). The bars have more protein than the new squares but all are tasty and made of healthy ingredients that would balance things for hypoglycemia....whole grains, nuts, and proteins, etc. And they're easy to transport since they're wrapped individually. I keep one in my purse all the time for sudden "I think all the sugar just left my body moments."
imre
Thanks Katy , looking into those bars on amazon now, what's your favorite flavor?
Katybug
I haven't had one that I didn't like. But, my favs in the bars are dark chocolate, nuts, and spice and dark chocolate, cherry, cashew. Oh, and the coconut almond...mmmmm. If you look into the squares on Qvc, right now you only have one option which is a sampler but all the flavors are good.
looneymom
What about the nut mixes that contain dried fruit and sometimes chocolate?
MomtoGiuliana
Plain yoghurt (at least, no added sugar--perhaps w/ fruit) works well for me when I am feeling poorly, esp mid-morning.
Elish
I like LUNA bars myself (though some can be messy because of the chocolate)
