Kms1990
Hi All, Has anyone ever had the experience of waking up in the middle of the night very light headed and feeling terrible. I have been having this experience lately and it is very scary. It usually happens about an hour after I fall asleep. Last night I woke up feeling like this an within a few minutes my bp was 140/76 92bpm. I am now starting to develop extreme anxiety of falling asleep, which I know cannot be health. Thanks for any experience that can be offered!
AshleyPooh
If you have problems with your blood pressure being high, this makes sense as your bp is always highest laying down flat. Are you on a beta blocker by any chance? If not, and your blood pressure is high enough for it, I'd ask your doctor about it.

Kms1990
Thank you both!My blood pressure usually does run high, however sometimes it drops off at night. I actually often find it the lowest when I am laying down, and it increases when I rise.
