Guest Hanice
Any really weird symptoms you get that just don't make any sense?
Guest Hanice
My weirdest symptom is: I feel a weird feeling in my chest, like cold water trickling down the heart area (just like falling drops of cold water). It's kind of rare but when it happens I look down at my chest looking for water marks because it really does feel just like it.
galatea
My weirdest is probably that I sometimes get grey feet, no idea why. That's when they're not purple/red.
jaddico
my weirdest is cool, yet misty sensation of water (sometimes running) on my legs and crawly sensation on my leg as well. Excellent question to ask. As we read everyone's response, hopefully we will see how our symptoms aren't that weired at all , epecially with some similiarities. To the general popuation, our symptoms maybe weired but in the Dysautonomia world, its unique and normal. I'm glad I found this forum. Justin-in-MI
Geez it's hard to pick one. I guess I will provide a top three.1. Tingling in my neck and head like a small amount of electricity is running through me.2. My hearing gets muffled in both ears for a day like there is water in them. Happens every now and then.3. My breath goes away for a few seconds, like when you get the wind knocked out of you (but without the pain of the impact). Happens usually once a day. spinner
Great thread idea.I have 2.1. extreme sensitivity to heat. Im talking anything above 72 f. I cannot even go to some churches or even hospitals because they keep it warm for the elderly and i about go into sycope. I function best around 60.2. No sudden BP spike. Running up stairs for example can flare me for 24 hours. I move slowly now. No more tennis. I can swim or walk.
misstraci
Hanice I have that exact thing you describe like cold water in my chest, it's really freaky. I don't really have a "weird" symptom other than that. My vision goes nearly black a lot, I assumed it had something to do with he pre-syncope and not getting enough oxygen or something. And my vision turns white with my near syncope.

YolaInBlue
My pupils dilated unevenly. First time I noticed 2 months ago, but the difference wasn't that big. Last Saturday I tried to read a book, but couldn't see anything with my right eye. After taking out and rinsing a contact lense twice, I looked in the mirror. My right pupil was huge and left one was normal size. It took around 7 hours for it to return to normal.I looked really weird, took out the camera and snapped some pics. I showed them to my primary care doctor yesterday and she couldn't believe I haven't done anything to that eye.

Do you mean a fizzy sound? Like soda trying to get through a very small space? Because a couple of us on here have that too (including me) it might be brain related, I have another post called Has anyone here had an MRI like this? You would probably find it interesting! We were talking about chiaris and overcrowding of the brain stem. Have you had an mri of the brain done?

If they weren't, then their would be a problem" so I just looked it up for you and this is what I foundhttp://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anisocoria
jaddico
Agreeky,I have the same eye problem. I never knew how to describe until I say how you stated it. Interesting
YolaInBlue
Thanks Hanice. I will research that and ask my doctor about it next time I see her. It is not present all the time, I get it with my dysautonomia "episodes", which are overall milder than last year. Before they were dialating evenly during episodes. This is someting new, that I noticed twice so far.
Agreeky
Marigold a couple months back I did a whole topic on eye issues. Another girl on this forum had the same problem as us. She mentioned something about closed eye hallucinations, but there is little literature on it. I find it a bit scary. Doctors have a hard time believing me. I am going to a retina specialist in October. Doubt I will get any answers though. I have noticed when my symptoms subside I do not get it as bad though... Very odd! Akgirl
After I eat to big of a meal or do to much exersize if i dont get tachy and faint then I do this really weird thing. I get really pale and my lips turn chalky and my hands feet and nose turns like ice and I go into a trance or a daze. It's sort of like I pass out with my eyes open? When I come out of it I go usually go into a yawning fit and can't stop yawning. I then have to put my feet up and drink water or Gatorade and take salt tablet or else sometimes I go into a seizure. khaarina
I would have to say my weirdest symptom is pupil dysfunction. It is so strange to look in the mirror and find that one pupil is bigger than the other.
