Mri Test ???

Recommended Posts

" A scan that shows no unexpected changes in the brain does not rule out conditions such as Alzheimer's disease because in the early stages of the disease the changes can be difficult to distinguish from normal ageing. " http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=260

Did you mean early onset Alzheimer's or Alzheimer's at an early stage?! sorry lI have lots of brain fog at the moment.

If you go to www.mayoclinic.com and do a search for Alzheimer's disease, you'll be directed to a page that defines the disease, lists the symptoms, tests and diagnosis, treatment options and so on.

Also, there is plenty of info online about methods of diagnosing Alzheimer's.

I believe the work up includes a brain MRI or CT scan or better yet a PET scan but I doubt this is a black and white type of deal, except for maybe some of the most sophisticated PET scans.
