It feels like its in a muscle. It happened whilst i was at work, i felt a anxiety attack coming, but i just looked at the PC screen and took deep breaths and that was that, i contolled my first panic attack.Could someone please explain what these are and why they happen. corina
HI Guvna,I can't help you with the pain, but I can compliment you on controlling your panic attack. That's VERY good of you!!! Corina
briarrose
I get stabbing pain in my back sometimes so bad that I can't breathe. I spent 12 hours in the ER once with it, they never figured it out. I have a check list that I run through when I'm symptomatic: Am I drinking enough water, salt, potassium, magnesium, what's my blood pressure, pulse, did I take all of my medications, did I get enough sleep, did I eat well enough today, when is my menstrual cycle. OK that is an example of some of my list. When I get to the end of my list and I don't have the answer then I start to get scared. I think as long as we rely on each other and just try to talk somethings out and try to deal with what we can; that's how we usually manage here.I've been having a lot of muscle spasms and cramping this week and I'm finally going to see the doctor today. I will let you know if I find out anything new and helpful.
Gena
James,If your symptoms persist for many days or the pain gets unbearable then you may want to see a physician. I've had these sharp pains before and I know they're uncomfortable, but I've never really worried about them, because they disappear before I even realize it. It's good to pay attention to your body, but just not too much, as then we can start to worry about every little ache and pain we have, and the stress does us no good at all! (I've been there, done that!) But this board is great for support and reassurance, especially when you're experiencing new symptoms that you're unsure about, so always feel free to post about them. I think it's great that you fended off your panic attack at work. Keep up the good work. You are definitely making progress. Gena
guvna2004
Its not unbearable or nothing, just a quick happening. Its on my left side, right to the left a bit about 30cm under my armpit. Lol as it happens it just happened again, and at the same time as it did yesterday, thats freaky, lol. I do worry about every little pain, which causes me stress, im actually trying to divert my stress for the good.
