Amelia
So I need to get some compression hose. Any suggestions of web sites, most comfortable brands? I would prefer to just wear knee or thigh high. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
NMPotsie
I tried various brands but couldn't stand them. They were hot, itchy, and I broke out in hives from wearing them (but my skin is UBER-sensitive). I have talked to people who wear them and they have issues with swelling right above them on the knee high ones, so maybe try the thigh-high first? The most tolerable, and most fashionable, ones I bought came from Rejuvahealth.com. I will try them again in the winter when it cools off here, and these are the ones I will wear. issie
I got my thigh high ones, for dress from For Your Legs on the internet. The brand I like is Sigvarius. For every day wear - I got compression socks in different colors to the knee from Dr. Leonards. There are two strengths of compression to choose from and I usually get the heavier ones. I recently order one of the stocking type compression knee hi's from Dr. Leonards and like them too. They also have a thigh high, but because I'm very tall and mostly legs - the thigh highs have to be long and those wouldn't be long enough for me. But, I do like the knee hi's. FarmerAmy
I haven't worn mine over the summer, but I will probably start wearing them again now that it's cooler. I can't totally remember, but I think I got mine from Bright Life Direct and I think I got Jobst brand. I got thigh-high and open toe. It would drive me nuts to have my feet wrapped up all day! And full length are too big of a hassle every time you need to use the restroom.
