This really plays into my acid base balance theories between the kidneys and lungs. Also, wonder if increased amounts of fossil fuels being burned in the area makes it worse?

There have been some posts on hypocapnia on here already. It's been shown in Dr Stewarts research at NY Medical, but no every POTS person has it according the his study. Also he measures end tidal CO2 and not aterial blood gas of CO2 levels. In that research there isn't any patient symptoms mentioned. I've had my CO2 levels tested a few times by a pulm doc and they were normal. I just had a 2nd TTT and had them measure my end tidal CO2 similarly to how Dr Stewarts team does it and mine went from a 41 reading to a 36 reading...

I had high CO2 levels on my last blood work. I need to look at my labs to find out how high. My doctor didn't even mention it.

The trick is to get the blood gas done while laying and compare it to standing, but to be honest, there isn't anyone doing that so there isnt anything to compare normal values to...
