arizona girl
A neuro that specializes in treating autoimmune neuromuscular disease, they will be familiar with defective immune systems and the autonomic symptoms that result from the body attacking itself or not being effective enough to protect itself. CarrieJessica
Okay I found a general neurologist with an emphasis on disorders of the muscle and peripheral nervous system. I think he might be my winner. My cardio is a great cardio but he doesn't get the big picture at all and I end up upset every time I leave. peregrine
A neuro who specializes in dysautonomia (I know, right?). The cardiologist (specifically a cardiac electrophysiologist) thought it was just atrial tachycardia and wanted to do an ablation, said I probably had some dysautonomia, but that there was no point getting tested for it because of the atrial tachycardia. Which turned out to be wrong :^)
Christy_D
Count my vote to Neurologist. I think the neurologist looks at the bigger picture of all the systems affected. That was our experience anyway.
