ramakentesh
iNOS is inductible NO synthesis which is the kind of NO that is extracted up by the immune system and then used by it to kill pathogens. Some substances - such as those in grapes as an example might effect iNOS expression in one way and have a entirely different effect on eNOS or nNOS - that is endothelial or neuronal nitric oxide which mediates endothelial vasodilatory flow. Grape-related substances also work to vasodilate but not entirely by a eNOS mechanism. they vasodilate but also can act on veins to reduce venous distention and even reduce capillory leakage. abbyw
Can you say that in English? BTW, I see that lemons is into her research today and Rama is here to clarify for us.....
issie
I'm finding grape seed extract to be of great benefit to me.
issie
Interestingly, I can't drink grape wine at all or eat grapes. So, what does that tell you? Must need the NO levels to be higher and evidently the grape seed extract doesn't affect NO levels. Or, my body just doesn't like how sweet the grapes are. LOL (Just guessing.)
