puppylove
I can take phenergan and zofran for nausea. My gastro prescribed me both- neither help. I thought the phenergan was helping but now I'm back to bring up all night several nights in a row with extreme never ending nausea. I have tried tea and herbal stuff for nausea too- does not help. I just don't understand why phenergan ,a strong antiemetic, does not stop my nausea. I have had endoscopies I had a stomach ulcer which is healed now. If any one has any suggestions I would appreciate it!
jangle
I wish I could tell you exactly what is going on and how to fix it. But I don't know where the nausea is coming from. I suspect the parasympathetic nervous system is involved due to its role in digestion. Now there really isn't a safe way to boost parasympathetic activity at this time. However exercise might be of assistance as can correcting any type of rein-aldosterone-angiotensin ii abnormalities. Unfortunately modern medicine hasn't yet developed a protocol for addressing the later of these two ideas.
