ramakentesh
Yes I do but its hard to say if that is the cause or consequence of impaired brain blood flow?
McBlonde
I have always thought mine was a disease of the brain... Like a computer going bad..... a message to receptors issue.
sue1234
I'm not sure if it's a brain disease, but I know it does affect the brain at all times, for me. Even sitting for most of my days, I can't think, remember, etc. I always feel like a balloon is blown up inside my brain. I'm brain fatigued, yet wired at the same time. MomtoGiuliana
I definitely think bad brain fog can begin to feel like a mental problem and is emotionally draining--as are the other POTS symptoms when severe.
Trach
I feel the same way McBlonde .
Elfie
I can deal with the bad physical symptoms for the most part, but feeling like a TBI patient after every time I stand is something that drives me insane.
puppylove
Yes. I have to concentrate hard to do simple things correctly. During Algebra homebound class the other day I could not remember what 6•5 was. The teacher looked at me like I was nuts.
kmichaelson
Yes! A few times I've gone to the pharmacy or a store and the clerk would ask what my phone number is and I can't remember it! It's so embarrassing and awful. I used to take pride in being a somewhat intelligent person, and now I have to pause midsentence to try to just get my thoughts out or I trail off, and it takes me forever to read something and comprehend it. As much as it's annoying to have this disease at any point, I'm glad I made it through school before it hit me because I can't imagine trying to do school work with the cognitive issues I have now.I don't know if my brain is causing these issues or is just affected by POTS and a lack of blood flow, but it's worrisome whatever the cause.
