ramakentesh
Just curious if anyone has tried a low nitrates/nitric oxide or sulphates diet here? A few on some CFS forums claim benefit so just wondering if there were any experiences here.
Chaos
Are you still doing the anti-inflammatory diet you had mentioned before?

Chaos
Sorry to hear that. Is there a lot of difference between the low nitrates etc diet and the anti-inflammatory diet?
issie
I looked up to see what would be some of the indications of a low NO diet. They are connecting high NO levels to ALS. There is a site that talks about it and that connection and why certain things are. I found the part about glutamates especially interesting to me - because of my reaction to glutamates. I can't do anything with them in it. In fact, the Tramadol blocks the effects of glutamates. Here is the link:http://www.stemcelltherapies.org/ALS/glutamine_glutamate_glutathione.htmlIt gives more info on low NO dietsClick on some of the links and it will give you the info. Don't know why the page didn't come up right.
