Lovebug
So now my LUQ abdominal pain (which is intermittent) is accompanied with extreme nausea and subsequent gagging. I usually do not vomit but can gag intensely and even start coughing. Just wondering if anyone else has this.....and what might relieve it. I just can't imagine doing this while giving meds to a patient!
corina
do you gag and cough while seated? if so you could try standing up or take a high(er) seated chair. my sister in law finds relief in doing so. just an idea, corina
Lovebug
Yes...gag lying down, sitting, squatting, and leaning over toilet (of course, lol). But I'll try sitting up straight as this could help. It makes sense so that I'm not pushing my diaphragm up.....thanks!
