danelle
Hi all, I am working on my reconsideration phase of the disability process and was lloking for an article I read on the 4 stages of POTS. Does anyone know where I can find it? If anyone knows of any other good articles or info that would be great too. I have been seraching the web as much as my body will let me and I have found a few good ones, but i could use more. I would really like to find that one if i could.I see an attorney this afternoon for a consult. Wish me luck!

briarrose
I have a half a dozen binders full of information and articles. Can you give me a little more info so I can hunt for it?
LoriN
Are you talking about the "Grading Scale of Orthostatic Intolerance"? If so I have an article titled Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) by Phillip A. Low etc.....It has in Table 1 the grading scale of 0 - 4 . At the bottom of the page is the following:From the Dept. of Neurology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.April, 1995 NEUROLOGY 45 (Suppl 5) S19
danelle
I think that is it. Would you mind sending me the link to the article? Thanks a bunch!!
LoriN
Danelle,Sorry I don't have the link. The article was given to me by a doctor when my children became sick several years ago. You could probably get it through a hospital library, or on the net somehow. I know there is another article that states degrees of impairment such as mild, moderate, severe, etc. I had this article at one time, too, but can't find it. I think it was written by Blair Grubb but I'm not sure. I have 4 file boxes full of articles. Wish I could be of more help.Lori
pamyla
I just checked and I have access (through school) to that article as well as the other 4 listed in that supplement issue.I'd be happy to send you any of them, just let me know which one you're interested in. Or, if it's okay with Michelle I could post them (didn't want to upset any copyright issues, and they're also pretty long)Pam********************1.
