BP a little elevated and needs insulin 4X daily. 33 weeks is when she lost Owen, so it's going to be a hard week emotionally.I'll keep Erika and you in my prayers. Her dr wants her to restrict her work hours for the rest of the pregnancy, but everything seems to be going about as well as one can expect with diabetes and elevated bp. MomtoGiuliana Posted May 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Thanks so much corina.Her bp is continuing to climb a bit. She is 34 weeks. They are planning a c-section for May 18. Unless things continue to go downhill. Surprisingly she is not on total bedrest. She has to cut back to part-time work and spend the rest of the time resting. I just prayed on the spot for everything to go well on the 18th. She was administered steroids today to get the baby's lungs ready as amnio determined they are not ready. From what I understand white male babies develop more slowing than girls and other ethnicities. She had another amnio and drs felt it best to continue to hold off. She is 36 weeks now. Still in the hospital of course. Her bp hasn't gone over 140/90, so she's been stable.I will post when there is news. The plan now is delivery on May 28th.
