iheartcats
I was researching more about the Swine Flu (Grandparents are considering not getting vaccine, so asked me to read up on it). This article suggests the pneumonia vaccine could help in some instances. One can even get pneumonia from the regular flu in some instances. I wasn't really aware of that.Does anyone get a pneumonia vaccine/ever got one?http://scienceblogs.com/effectmeasure/2009...e_flu_kills.php
Gracefulprincess
I've never had the pneumonia vaccine before, but i'm getting one next week. My dr wants me to get one this year because i get bronchitis alot that usually turns into pneumonia.
sandymbme
I got the pneumonia vaccine last year and had no issues with it. Because of how complicated my case is, and having a huge history of bronchial ailments, my doc wanted me vaccinated. I had no real issues with it. And I think you just get it every other year or every few years, can't remember...(my memory is sorely lacking these days!)Sandy
iheartcats
I've had bronchitis in recent years (no fun) so I may look into this. I'd never really considered it, but may think about it this year. I always thought it was for elderly...didn't even know us younger folk could consider it.
