Kimberley
Hello, Has anyone been told from thier Doctor that they had Full Blown Pots Before? Just wondering. I mean I feel like it could not get any worse than this. It's wierd, like you almost have to pretend as much as you can that your OK when your not to keep going. Boy if people only knew!!!Thanks Kimberley
ethansmom
It depends what you mean by full blown. I would think I had full blown POTS when I was first diagnosed and bedridden, and I think now I am functioning at about 75% most days, instead of the 10% I was feeling at the beginning. It is hard to keep going sometimes, but stay positive- don't give up trying to feel better!!
MightyMouse
I don't think that your doctor's term "full blown POTS" is necessarily a technical description. In looking up that set of words using Google, I've not found any information. Did you ask your doctor to describe what he means by those words as opposed to just saying you have POTS?The only thing I can think of is that perhaps he meant that you have most, if not all, of the hallmark symptoms of POTS.Nina
Kimberley
Hello, Well what's interesting is that my Doctor's Assistant has POTS herself. She told me she used to be really bad but now is alot better. She is the ine who looked at my chart to see if infact they did every test for me before January (you know the deductable) . I even remember the Tilt table test, has anyone lasted 4 minutes like I did? Thanks Kimberley
Michelle Sawicki
I think of the time that I was sick in bed feeling half dead as having "full blown POTS", and I have referred to it as such. I'm guessing he is saying you are very symptomatic.Michelle
