Dizzy Dame
For me, I can't feel my PVCs and PACs (my irregular heartbeats) unless my BP is high. Normally my BP is very low despite meds (usually at 90/70) but it goes up to "normal" frequently and then I'll feel my heart-beat and irregular heart-beats. I talked to my doc about it a long time ago and he said it was not dangerous, just a bit unnerving. Now I just ignore them. Hope that helps you. mae
I feel them everytime. Sometimes I skip beats along with shortness of breath, sometimes I have rapid beats and it goes right back to normal. Its really a weird feeling but it usually passes for me very quickly. I'm use to it nowMae
potsgirl
firewoman,I feel my heart beating irregularly quite often, especially in the morning when I'm taking my BP, where I can also hear the extra or missed beats. Also at night, when I first lay down. I've asked my pacer people about this, and they said it was normal. Ciao~jana
fire_lupine06
Are PVCS common in Pots Patients?
MelissaCrystal
^I think so, my doc doesn't seem to worry about it. I feel like they should >< It's so uncomfortable, unnerving, and painful.
Miriam Poorman-Knox
I have ALWAYS felt them even before I had the onset of full fledeged Pots. Uncomfortable and scarry...yes. You do get used to it though. M
toddm1960
Hi Fire,I'll add my 2 cents, like most others on here I feel them all the time. Am I the only one that has ended up in the ER because of them? The tight chest and at times pain in my jaw or left arm. They are very scary, but don't feel alone with them at all. One more thing we need to learn to relax ourselves through.

morgan617
I have always been very sensitive to any arrythmias I have. I can even feel my pacer check itself every night and the pacer people say that's really weird. They change the time without telling me and then when I call them on it at my next visit, they are always shocked. der....
