Dysautonomia News - Summer 2007

HELP!

We Want You to be a Star!

Help get the word out about how it feels to walk in your footsteps. What is it like to live with your illness? The Dysautonomia Information Network will be featuring member’s pictures in our upcoming documentary. To take part, please send your picture along with your first and last name, age, diagnosis, and signed release form (available at http://www.dinet.org/release.htm) to Alexia Anastasia at worththewords@hotmail.com. You may include a one sentence, personal quote to be included with your picture in the film.

If you are located in Michigan or Florida, you may be able to help with our documentary in a more significant way. We are looking for one more patient to feature in our documentary. Ideally, this person will be a mother under forty who is moderately to severely affected by POTS, NCS and/or another form of dysautonomia.

The ability to talk openly and candidly is a must. Please contact Michelle Sawicki at staff@dinet.org if you fit this profile and would like to take an active role in educating the world about dysautonomia.

*Note: Please make sure you are not wearing any clothing advertising products in your picture.

Printing: We Need Your Help!

Do you have access to free or discounted professional printing services? We’d like to have a few hundred brochures on POTS printed up. Please write to us at staff@dinet.org if you can assist with printing or printing costs. Thank you!

Grants Needed! Please Help!
