Dysautonomia News - Summer 2007

Doctors and DINET

Q & A with Doctors is now Available!

DINET is happy to announce a new addition to our newsletter! Beginning in Fall 2007, members may submit questions to DINET's medical advisors. These questions cannot take the place of a doctor’s visit; so please do not use this service for medical advice, a diagnosis or treatment plan.

We anticipate receiving numerous questions, and it may be impossible to answer them all. Here are some hints to ensure your question will have a greater likelihood of being answered.

  • Keep it short and to the point. Our physicians are busy people and may not have the time to review an extensive medical history. Please make an appointment with a specialist if you need someone to review your complete medical history.
  • Only ask one question at a time.
  • Search DINET's forum at www.dinet.ipbhost.com before submitting a question. You may find your question has already been answered there.

Visit http://www.dinet.org/q&a.htm to ask your question today!
