  1. Had them again today. Only lasted a few seconds, but counted about 4-5 episodes now. I also purposly fed my body less water, to see if it could be dehydration (sp?). As i said, they happen more when i am at college when i cant drink fluids (in classes). Ive had no alchol and 2 cups of tea, 1 glass of coke. Im going to drink water now and keep my body hydrated all day tomorrow and see what results i get. i see my doc in 3 weeks, so will tell him all about me then. Thanks for the replys.
  2. If i was to tell him he would just push it off as another a) anxiety attack or im just aware. Thinking about it now this has happened a good few times in the past 4 years. I will talk to my doc, have him run different tests to rule out other things. It may be alchol that brings them on even more, i have alot of alchol in the house (as its christmas) and thought id have a couple of glasses of wine but only when i drink do they get worse. Or when im at college an dehidrated (sp?). Lets see what the doc says anyway. Ps. I have no insurance, im in the UK, health care is free.
  3. Smile, keep your head high. Do something that makes you happy.
  4. I think thats her yes. Would be great to hear from her. If anyone speaks to her before she reads this point her to this thread. Im not sure if she remembers me, when we last spoke i was trainning to become a teacher myself.
  5. How is everyone? I havn't been on here for a good 9 months at least. Some of you will remember me. Im doing ..... ok. Still not been diag. with POTs, and i still get mad cases of tachy and brachy. Echo and ECG came back normal. At the moment im at college doing software development, next year im at university doing Software Engineering. What happened to that girl that was studying at oxford? i forgot her name, she was aregular on here a while back ..... she still may be. I used to speak to here on MSN.
  6. Hi to you all, my first post in a long time. I was resting, on my PC, developing some software then i had a skipped beat, usually it skips then goes back to normal but this time it skipped, went irregular and was irregular for about 10 seconds. It felt horrible, i cant even explain how it felt, my body felt mad. I could feel my heart beating funny, there was no pain or anything. I had my echo and ECG last week and came back fine, so i am very confused. Before my echo i would be really scared now, but im not to bothered because my heart structure is normal. What is causing this!! I have not been diagnosed with POTS, the doctor dont know what it is, but i thought id ask in here because i have been a member for a while and the community is great. Thanks all. Anyone had similar experiences?
  7. Ok. Im getting these palpatiations real bad at the moment, i can feel them in my throat. While this is going on, if i feel my pulse its normal. So the palpatations cant be effecting my heartbeat. Anyone had this? what is it?
  8. Well i have an appointment at the doctors on the 19th anyway, but its not about this, me and my gf are trying for a baby, but back on point. I read somewere that it could be diabetic problems, but im not diabetic. I have a feeling its something to do with nerves, but im not sure what, i will discuss this with my doc though. Thanks for your help
  9. Hello all. I aint spoke to you all from a while, hope your all well. Anyway. For about 4 days ive had this numbness at the bottom of my left leg, but its not normal numbness its wierd. Where the big toe is, you got that thin bone that runs to your ankle, well along that path, its numb to touch, its not actually numb, if i touch it i can feel it, or f i pinch it it still hurts, but it feels wierd when i touch it. And it carrys on to just above my ankle, but its not the whole of my leg, just one patch, very wierd. I did have this problem once before when i was 15 on my thumb and once about 3 years ago on the inside of my leg, but it went away. Does it sound like circulation problems? there is no other pain, it dont tingle, or burn, just when i touch that part if feels wiered. I was thinking if it was circulation it would be the whole of my foot right? Anyone had anything similar?
  10. Ive had them for years also, i remember having them 3 years ago, then they went away, must be brought on by the stress, my life is full of stress atm.
  11. whats kalamazoo? We have a kalamazoo near us, in the UK, its a software development company, they are from the USA aswell. Any link to it?
  12. I aint been on here for a while, been working, still got the same job. Anyway, it seems my daily symptoms went away, and for a while i seemed fine but ive had the oddest things happen to me latley. I could be lying down, standing or sitting up and out of the blue my heartbeat will add an extra beat or 2, or 3, really fast, then skip a beat, then return to normal, lasts about 5 seconds maximum. I get no pain or anything, and when it passes thats it. It happens a few times a day, usually when im eating, well this is when i notice it, but it happened just when i was in bed. Does anyone have this? It sort of shocks for for a second, and then gets me paranoid for a bit. My anxiety is 90% better then it used to be, and my life seems better .... ish. It just seems to be another problem to add the the list of the ammount i already have. Anyone want to throw some light on the subject? cheers.
  13. Morgan, At the gym we sell zero carbs protien drinks. Theres 50grams protein in one milkshare, and theres calores in it aswell so your still able to survive. I hihgly reccommend you visit a body building website, they have drinks for everything. They even include meal replacment zero carb drinks, which would suit you.
  14. Hi all. Would just like to inform you i am still going very strong. My body building is going fine, im drinking alot of protien drinks to help muscle build and ive also started to do KickBoxing because i feel so good! Im now working as a window fitter and earning a living. Although my problems still effect me i have learnt to ignore them, and whenever i get problemsw whilst training or working i channel the energy into something posative so that i can continue to train/work without being affected. This time last year i was in the pits, really in the pits, now im awfully high. Im becoming a body builder, a kick boxer and i do a labour manual job. Things are looking up. I think im suffering a bit of IBS, when i work to hard i get stomach acid come up, also after eating i feel very drained and usually have a nap. When i get stomach problems i also get heart problems (slow/fast hr, palps, low/high bp, can varey depending on what im doing). But the doctor will clear all this up when i visit. I also learnt that a freind at the gym recently had a heart attack and belive me he is very strong and muscular, im not sure if hes on steroids for training, but his will and determination makes me a better fighter in life. I urge anyone to get up and do something in life, i started small, very slow trainning, when i started i was tiered in seconds, but now i can do 2 hours easy, run 4 miles easy and kick box, its a big step up considering last year i was usless. The mind CAN play a big part on the way we act and think about ourselves, you need to overcome this and get used to your problems and just fight them off, even though it can seem impossible, it isnt.
  15. Hi all. I havnt been here for a while ive been busy. If you could read the short essay below, lol, and make a comment or some advice i would be greatful. Ive been working latley doing alot of labour work, very intensive indeed. Ive also been going to the gym and doing my body building routine. Today im aching all over but that can be expected due to the ammount of intensive excersize im doing. Over the past year when i stand up my heart rate dont increase but it decreases, it goes down, then returns to normal within a few seconds. Ive experienced no pains except a few sharp pains in the chest that go away, but ive been living with abnormalties for 3 years plus. I awoke today to find my right foot feels tight, it dont look swollen, but feels very tight, when i walk the bottom muscle on my foot stretches. I sleep on a chair at the moment, cos of lack of beds in my house and problems, but my feet usually fall of the end onf the chair when i sleep , so this could be due to it. I also stand all day, as im a labourer, and go the gym for an hour a day with intensive workouts. Im also on 100 grams + protien a day, due to bodybuilding routines. Anyone got any info or advice or share any common symptoms.
