  1. yes i get like this a lot, specially when im tired. my doc had me takin albuterol ( the asthma) stuff which sort of helped with the breathin but then i would have a major collapse because it increased my heart rate so much and it made me really shaky. sorry, i dont have any answers
  2. i know exactly how you feel!! its terrible! my school kicked me out because i would faint almost every time i stood up. occasionally, i have hit my head but usually i can tell im gonna faint and ill lay down or sit down with my head between my legs. After, i get some really salty pickles, a salt tab, and a gatorade. i usually drink like 3 gatorades a day and lots of other fluids. my doc put me on nadolol which has helped a lot. im so sorry and i know its *****.
  3. This is so interesting! Today i could not stop yawning and i was also having shortness of breath and a terrible migraine.
  4. Yes i get this too. My hands will start turning purple and blue they get so cold. My feet get really pale when they get cold, it's literally like ice. other times, my feet will turn redish purple and be cold but not as cold. My doc has me wear 20-30 mm knee-high compression stockings. They help but also feel like their cutting off my circulation. I don't know the answer.
  5. Yeah i really like the chiroprator cause i get a lot of neck pain. I also have a hard lump in my neck which sort of feels like a bone and it is on the right side of my neck. I showed my parents and they are worried that a chiropractor could damage me or something. IDK
  6. I am on some meds but i have a metabolism problem which can cause me paralysis on certain drugs. I was only tested for one liver enzyme which I am missing so we don't know what would happen if I was on other meds.
  7. Hey Kali! I'm new too! Yes i get that a lot. When I was in the ICU, everyone was shocked becasue my heart rate would change so much frequently. I think it's just a POTS thing because I have had several echos, EKGs, Stress tests, holter monitor and everything was pretty normal. I have had it where you can see my chest pumping and it feels terrible. Also, when it gets really bad, I get this rash. My skin gets really blotchy but it's not itchy or painful. I would not have noticed the rash except i was in the doctor's office and he took pics of it. Everything about POTS is SO weird. Good luck
  8. This summer I had six UTIs and was constantly on antibiotics that were making me even sicker. I guess you sorta have to take'em and just work through it but i definitely wouldn't take something that could cause permanent damage. I know all about sensitivities. I usually have every single side effect possible. I have had paralysis as a result of an adverse drug reaction as well. good luck
  9. I sort a know how you feel. I have chronic daily migraines, which really *****. Some days they aren't as bad though. I like to say I'm a mord-sith from the Legend of the Seeker t.v. series. Good Luck!
