What one person can do!
Stephanie
Thompson is a DINET member who is determined to make a difference! First,
she conducted a candle sale at her place of business and raised money
for DINET’s upcoming documentary. Then she arranged to set up
a dysautonomia awareness booth in front of her local Publix grocery
store. Her mom made a banner with the word “Dysautonomia”
and DINET’s web site address written on it. Stephanie and her
mom gave little toys to children while handing their parents brochures
about dysautonomia. Stephanie says “This is something all my fellow
Floridian POTS friends could do at their local Publix if they wanted.
Publix is very good about supporting its community and often allows
charities to utilize their store fronts.”
DINET is proud to feature Stephanie Thompson in this newsletter edition.
Stephanie is doing all she can to raise dysautonomia awareness. Thank
you, Stephanie!
